About DKCarts

DKCarts connects customers with independent local vendors — kitchens, restaurants and shops — and delivers their orders to the doorstep using our network of bike and motorbike riders. Customers browse vendors, place an order, pay securely, and track it to delivery.

We started around university communities and are expanding across Accra and other towns in Ghana. Anyone can order — students, staff, households and businesses alike.

DKCarts is operated by Akilidex, the platform operator responsible for the marketplace, payments and rider network. It is built and run in collaboration with DKNPFC-UG (Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Political Fun Club – University of Ghana).

• Food and meals from local kitchens and restaurants
• Groceries and everyday essentials
• Books and study materials, electronics, fashion and home goods

• Browse vendors and add items to your cart.
• Check out and pay securely online with Paystack (card or mobile money), or choose cash on delivery where available.
• The vendor accepts and prepares your order; a DKCarts rider picks it up.
• Track your rider and receive your order at your door.

Every vendor and rider on DKCarts is reviewed and approved by our team before they can transact, and payout accounts are verified before activation. Payments are processed securely by Paystack — DKCarts never stores your full card details.
